Assistant Surveyor 01227 477875

Background and industry experience

Sam has twenty years' experience in the retail banking sector for the Natwest and Royal Bank of Scotland group. Her first role was within information technology, providing 1st line support and escalation for mainframe related production applications and services. She then returned several years later as a Customer Service Advisor within retail branch banking. Between these times, Sam was employed by Hertfordshire County Council, where she collaborated with schools in the county in order to give pupils a voice via an online survey, thus enabling the council to set up a healthy schools model. During this time she also qualified as a driving instructor and ran a successful business until stopping to look after her growing family.

Sam now lives in Ashford, Kent with her husband and three children, where she has become a very active member of her children's school Parents and Friends Association (PFA) where she held the position of Chairperson for three consecutive years. Sam enjoys organising events, especially those that benefit the school on behalf of the PFA like the school summer fair. Sam's recreational passions are golf, walking and skiing.
