Description
Hillside is an attractive period property which has been greatly extended and developed over the years so that it now wonderfully combines character features with contemporary living. To the rear of the property is an impressive living kitchen with bi-fold doors opening out onto the terrace. There are a further four reception rooms as well as six bedrooms and six bathrooms. Set on an elevated position, the property enjoys some lovely views.

Accommodation
The main entrance leads though to a double height entrance hall with the oak and glass staircase leading to the first floor. Off the hall is the handsome drawing room with oil stove and bay window. A carefully designed extension with under floor heating creates access from the front to the rear of the property. Running alongside the extension is a cosy snug with original exposed ceiling timbers. Adjacent is the dining area which opens out onto the extensive living family kitchen. There is an extra long central island with an abundance of storage space. This particularly high spec and carefully considered kitchen which also benefits from an oil Aga as well as induction hob, separate ovens, integrated coffee machine and wine cooler. There is enough space in the kitchen for a dining table and seating area with attractive corner bi-fold doors creating a wonderful open feel flowing out to the terrace. Off the kitchen is a garden room also with bi-fold doors and wood burner. From here there is an additional room currently used as a gym but would also make an ideal home office.

The oak and glass staircase leads to the first floor where there is an impressive mezzanine landing area. On the first floor is a large master suite which includes a dressing area and high quality en suite bathroom where there is also a Juliet balcony making the most of the wonderful rural views. As well as the master suite, there are a further three double bedrooms, one more with en suite, and a family bathroom on this floor plus an additional two bedrooms, both with ensuites on the second floor accessed via two separate staircases. A total of six bedrooms and six bathrooms, including the ground floor wet room.

This extensive accommodation has been carefully renovated, extended and maintained with the use of reclaimed timbers to mirror the original features whilst creating the ideal spaces for the modern purchaser. Although a period property, it is not listed and benefits from double glazed windows throughout.

Approached through electric gates, there is a large paved parking area to the front and a new timber garage. As well as the terraces in front of the kitchen and the garden room, there is also a raised lawned area with outbuilding that would make an ideal summer house. Here is the perfect place to watch the sun set and enjoy the attractive views.
