Background and industry experience

Murray manages the pipeline safety and awareness program, Linewatch, on behalf of its members. His time is spent visiting various companies and organisations around the UK, raising awareness of high pressure oil and gas pipelines and promoting safe working practices with those planning or undertaking works around them.

Murray joined Fisher German in 2010 as a pipeline Technician and has worked on several pipeline networks managed by the firm.

He lives in Leicestershire with his wife and three children. Outside of work Murray enjoys spending time with his family, walking and fishing.

When did you join Fisher German?
2010

What has been your favourite project and why?
Working as resident engineer on the A556 Pipeline protection works in Cheshire. This project was very challenging at times but it was very rewarding seeing the road being constructed over the protected pipeline and the whole area changing.

Top pastime?
Fishing and talking about fishing.

Best holiday destination?
Cornwall
