Solution
- Following an inspection of the site and a review of the current valuation we submitted a challenge against the Rateable Value of £470,000 on the grounds that the airport was underutilised and an allowance for superfluity was sought
Benefits
- After discussions with the Valuation Officer a reduced Rateable value was agreed at £315,000 leading to savings of over £200,000
