Background and industry experience

John qualified as a Chartered Planner in November 2023. He has five years of experience working within development management in a range of sectors, both in the public and private sectors. Most recently, John works within the Strategic and Infrastructure Planning teams at Fisher German, working on a variety of residential, commercial, water, waste and power infrastructure projects.

In John's last role, he worked primarily with renewable energy projects taking these from site appraisal stage to gaining planning permission.

John lives in Nottingham and in his spare time, loves doing anything outdoors, preferably with a dog!

Why did you join Fisher German?
I was drawn in by the reputation FG has and the ability you have here to work with a broad range of clients on varied projects.

What has been your favourite project and why?
Not one project, but I particularly enjoy the more challenging projects which require a more creative strategy!

Most admired, non-property brand?
Jaguar (Because of the F-Type)

Top pastime?
I really enjoy getting out in the open, somewhere with a great view and preferably a pub.

Best holiday destination?
So far,Pakistan.
