Over the coming months, we will see a few changes to our office network as we relocate and greatly expand our Birmingham office, refurbish our Manchester office, and close our offices in Rossendale and Southampton. The changes are taking place as part of our wider office strategy to ensure we offer colleagues and clients the best locations and workspaces for their needs.

We are excited to confirm that the Birmingham office will be relocating to high-profile, modern premises in the city centre at 15 Colmore Row later this year.  Moving to the city centre is an exciting opportunity for us to expand our base in Birmingham and create a hub for colleagues and clients in the Midlands with its excellent public transport connections and provide a great space for colleagues to connect and collaborate. The move will support our plans to bring more of our service lines into the Birmingham office to complement the existing commercial property operations. The move to Colmore Row will take place over the autumn with in excess of 70 people to be based from the office from November.

We will also be refurbishing our Manchester office and will upgrade and refit the offices to create a fresh and modern workplace. The layout is being reconfigured to provide an environment which will accommodate better client meeting spaces, collaboration zones, enhanced workspace layouts and quiet working/video conferencing pods.

As we continually review our office network to ensure it meets our needs, we will be closing two of our smaller, single-service offices over the coming weeks. The Southampton office has now closed following colleague relocations. The Rossendale office, based in the North West, will also be closing in the autumn as we consolidate our offices in this region, which includes our larger offices in Knutsford, Manchester, Chester and Liverpool. Our Bury St Edmunds office has increased its space in the same building in response to greater numbers of people servicing our clients in that region.

Divisional Managing Partner, Stuart Flint said: “The relocation of our Birmingham office into the city centre is a very exciting expansion project for our business and that coupled with the refurbishment of the Manchester office reinforces our urban markets growth initiative as part of our overall strategy. We are also turning our attention to the further development of the plan to relocate our city office in Ironmonger Lane to create a flagship London office to reflect our ambitions as a business and to support expanded service lines in the South East. The changes with Southampton and Rossendale are part of the natural evolution of our offices' strategy to group more of our people together in multi-service locations to provide advantages for our clients and greater collaboration opportunities for our departments and divisions.”
