Over the past few months, we have welcomed three new directors into our operations team who oversee vital business functions.

Back in July, we welcomed Christian Fleischmann who joined us as Risk & Compliance Director. Christian leads the Risk & Compliance Department, providing expertise on enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, quality management, business acceptance, complaints, insurance, and claims. Christian has a strong governance, risk, and compliance background having spent over 20 years in the financial services sector. He joined us from Unity Trust Bank plc where he led on conduct risk and compliance, enterprise risk, and operational resilience.,

As part of the merger with Matthews & Goodman, we also welcomed Juliet Sturridge in the summer as Head of HR & Finance (M & G). Juliet’s role, Director of Continuous Improvement, focuses on how we can build on our successes, improve our efficiency, and combine the best of the two organisations as we move forwards together. Juliet has a wealth of experience in business support and improvement. She has spent almost a decade with Matthews & Goodman, having previously held director positions at The Seaside Boarding House, The Recruit Club, Met Film & TV, and The Whitehouse Post Productions Ltd. She is also a Board Trustee at Community Advice Works, which provides housing, benefits, and mental health advice to the local community.

Finally, Carl Stirland joined us as IT Director at the end of August to head up our systems department, which comprises our IT, development, and project management teams. Carl oversees the use of technology throughout the business including its development and implementation. Carl joined us with more than 30 years’ experience of in IT across the construction, housebuilding, engineering, manufacturing, and distribution sectors. He is a Chartered IT Professional and joins us from the UK arm of SIG plc, where he was developing technological efficiency across 580 distribution centres and trade counters.
