Our commercial agency team have secured a long-term lease commitment for a renowned food and drinks operator to enable them to launch a new £5 million venue in Birmingham. BOXPARK has announced it will launch its very first site in the Midlands at Floodgate Street Arches, in Digbeth, in 2025.
 
We acted on behalf of landlords, The Arch Company to agree the deal, which will see almost 17,000 sq. ft. of space under four 12m high railway arches transformed into a food hall and events destination.
 
The BOXPARK scheme is proposed to include a covered structure with around 10 kitchen units and four internal bars set across two floors. In addition, there will be just over 10,500 sq. ft. of external space to offer al fresco dining and events.
 
Its occupation will require planning and licensing consent.
 
The new opening is expected to create approximately 200 new job opportunities for the local community as well as drive a significant volume of footfall to the area, with over a million people expected to visit each year.
