Fisher German is celebrating after colleagues achieved a 100 per cent APC pass rate.
Richard Fisher, Katherine Lewis, Ed Randall, Stephanie Christensen, Marc Strydom, Alex Morrison, Theo Shepherd-Smith and Matthew Handford have all passed their APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) to become MRICS surveyors. Katie Turner and David Simpson-Jones have also passed their APC to become chartered building surveyors.The candidates demonstrated commitment and resilience as the Covid-19 pandemic resulted in assessments being moved online for the first time.
The APC is a formal assessment, following a two year on the job training period to ensure surveyors have the professional competence required to achieve chartership. At Fisher German, we run a dedicated graduate training programme which provides a wide range of support to our APC candidates. Colleagues benefit from a dedicated supervisor, a counsellor who provides a strategic overview of the APC process as well as an APC doctor who is an independent third party who candidates meet with every six months to discuss their progress.
We host a number of training days throughout the year, including a practical estate based day where APC candidates gain hands-on experience. We also provide a full mock APC interview and paperwork reviews to ensure colleagues are in the best possible position to pass the exam.
