Harbourne Court 1

Our Birmingham team are now working with one of the most prominent estates in Birmingham after a change in the estate’s asset management strategy. Calthorpe Estates, which owns the freehold of the 1,600 acres in Edgbaston, has instructed us to find occupiers for space in three of its office buildings.

Office space in buildings on Greenfield Crescent, Harborne Court and Harborne Road are all being let by Fisher German as part of its new focus on finding occupiers for office space as the ‘flight to quality’ by businesses continues.

Partner, Charles Warrack, said: “We are delighted to have been instructed by Calthorpe Estates to lease this accommodation. The estate itself is one of the most sought-after in Birmingham, and occupiers are increasingly looking for high-specification suites in prime locations throughout Edgbaston.

“Our successful work in letting office space in prime areas like Brindleyplace and Colmore Row meant Calthorpe Estates felt we were best placed to take these instructions on. We hope these instructions are the start of a fruitful relationship with Calthorpe Estates, and we look forward to helping it house even more businesses in the future.”

The three spaces for rent are 1,969 sq ft across two floors at 4 Greenfield Crescent – an attractive period building, 3,515 sq ft of space at Suite B, Harborne Court, and 1,206 sq ft of space across the first floor of 30 Harborne Road. All three spaces benefit from Calthorpe Estate’s beautiful scenery, quality bars and restaurants, and superb access to the city centre.

Thomas Foley, Asset Manager at Calthorpe Estates, added: “As demand for quality office space in city locations has risen, we reviewed our strategy to focus more on getting these spaces filled. Fisher German has a superb track record in leasing office space of this nature in Birmingham and elsewhere, so it was an easy choice to instruct the team. We look forward to welcoming new occupiers to the Calthorpe Estate very soon, and continuing our working relationship with Fisher German as our strategy continues to develop.”
