Fisher German has made 21 promotions across the business - including three partner promotions - as part of its career progression framework, which gives colleagues a continual pathway for professional development.

Yan Gittins, who has been integral in leading our West Midlands region for the last 10 years, has progressed to a B Partner. Yan, based in Worcester, specialises in rural estate management which he has done for 25 years in and around the county.

Matthew Hodgetts, also based in Worcester, has been invited to join the equity partnership as a C Partner. He plays a vital role in the delivery of infrastructure schemes on behalf of acquiring authorities in the Midlands and South West, and also has a wealth of experience providing advice on land rights and compensation.

Matthew Trewartha, based in Ashby de la Zouch, has also been invited to join the equity partnership and will become a C Partner. He manages several national property portfolios and recently led the opening of our new Exeter office. A further 18 promotions across its offices, marking our continuing success across a number of specialisms.

The announcement comes as we mark the formal business merger with Vine Property Management, which manages 51 million sq ft of retail, industrial and office property, following a deal in 2020. The merger brings almost 100 new colleagues into Fisher German with offices from Glasgow to Southampton.

Senior Partner Tim Shuldham said that it is fantastic to be in a position to make such a strong number of promotions after what has been an unprecedented year for the sector. He said: “I would like to congratulate all of those who have been promoted and thank everyone across the business who has helped us progress during what has been an incredibly challenging time for the sector. It is a tribute to the quality and hard work of all our colleagues, the strength of our client base and the robust foundations of our business that we are able to make this announcement.

Not only have we made 21 promotions across a variety of disciplines, we have also recruited 28 graduates into the firm with more positions to fill. During the last year Fisher German has maintained a seamless and quality service to our clients which we will continue to deliver going forward as we grow and strengthen the business further.”
