Background and industry experience

Toby works within the residential agency team, based in Chester. His main area of focus is developing the Welsh residential market and attending market appraisals. Aside from this, Toby also spends a lot of time overseeing the online auctions across both Wales & Cheshire with a focus on dilapidated property and land sales.

Toby has spent several years within Agency and has a vast experience of both the Welsh and Cheshire markets, having worked across Denbighshire, Flintshire, Wrexham, Cowny, Gwynedd and Powys councils. In recent years he has also worked throughout Cheshire in both a sales and lettings capacity.

Originally born in Abersoch, Toby now resides in Ruthin, where he has lived for over 30 years. In his spare time, he is a keen sports enthusiast and still plays football on a weekly basis as well as being a keen gym enthusiast. Given his advancing years (and ankles that are made of tracing paper) Toby has recently taken up golf and aims to be considered "half decent" by the time he's 40. Toby also has a questionable taste in music.

Why did you join Fisher German?
I wanted to join a company that would allow me the autonomy to grow an area myself. Given Fisher German's standing and experience in the wider market, I felt this was a great match.

What has been your favourite project and why?
I always enjoy the online auctions, there's an unrivalled buzz around them, particularly in the closing moments. You get to see places with amazing potential as well as some very quirky properties / land.

Most admired, non-property brand?
Liverpool FC

Top pastime?
Playing sports, although I am highly competitive, so I have been known to take things too seriously.

Best holiday destination?
Rome or Barcelona

One item to take to a desert island?
A bottle of rum, a glass and a mixer. I know that's more than one thing, but if I have to be stuck on an island I'm at least enjoying myself. Also factor 50!
