Background and industry experience
Richard heads the Farm Agency Team at Fisher German and sits within the National Country Agency Team. He is a qualified Chartered Surveyor (MRICS), and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (FAAV).Operating nationally, Richard manages the sale and acquisition of farms, country estates, and mixed-use rural portfolio properties, serving high net worth private clients, family office, corporate clients, Institutions, Developers, and Charities. Whilst many sales and acquisitions are promoted on the open market, a good proportion of his work is undertaken privately, off market.

He also provides advice to clients and investors who are looking to purchase medium- and long-term strategic land across the country both on the open market and privately.
Richard comes from a farming family in South Nottinghamshire. He attended Harper Adams University in Shropshire. Outside of work, he enjoys a round of golf and participating in a range of field sports. He enjoys watching cricket and rugby, with an interest in the Leicester Tigers. He also sits on the Nottinghamshire committee for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution and is a member of the Farmers Club in London.
