Background and industry experience

Kerry leads the Midlands commercial property management team based in the Birmingham Office. The team deal with all types of property retail, industrial and office across the region. As well as assisting her team members on management of their individual portfolios, Kerry also manages a number of sites. These include Martineau Place, a large retail and leisure scheme (over 400,000 sq ft) in the centre of Birmingham which has tenants such as Poundland, Boots and Burger King, as well as a number of smaller businesses and independent traders. Kerry also manages a large development site close to Solihull which has been gradually developed in plots; this has its own challenges due to the changing basis of the service charge provisions and allocations as plots are sold off over time.

Kerry has worked in property management for her whole career, starting out with British Rail in London then moving back to the midlands to work at King Sturge. Over her 20 year career Kerry has also worked for BNP Paribas and Harris Lamb before moving to Vine Property Management. Throughout her career in property management Kerry has dealt with many different property types and clients. She is also a member of the RICS, having qualified in 1998.

Kerry lives in Solihull with her husband and two children. She is a keen runner and an active member of a local running club.

About me

What has been your favourite project and why?
Martineau Place - a large shopping centre in Birmingham City Centre. It was the first major retail property I dealt with, including a large weighted service charge scheme. A particular highlight was winning a service charge dispute which went to the RICS for a 3rd party resolution.
