Background and industry experience

Ellie joined Fisher German in 2023 and her role is to support the Rural Client Accountants across the Fisher German offices. Her main responsibilities are ensuring that client reporting needs are fulfilled, provide guidance to the rural client accountants, drive efficiency in procedures and monitor the compliance requirements relevant to the department.

Whilst gaining 10 years experience in accountancy practice, she qualified as a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2022. During that time, she worked with a variety of businesses, in many sectors. Working in practice, alongside clients to help them achieve their goals was the most rewarding part. Now working to support the client accounting team within Fisher German, is as equally rewarding.

Ellie's passion is to travel and see the world, always having the next destination booked. Hugo, her golden retriever, keeps her active and they enjoy a countryside walk.

About me

Why did you join Fisher German?
I wanted a role that was closer to my home in South Derbyshire, but I wanted to also continue growing in my career so Fisher German was a perfect fit.

What has been your favourite project and why?
There's been many projects that I've been a part of in the client accounting team since I've joined Fisher German, which has been a great experience and really motivating to continue amazing work.

Top pastime?
Walking my dog with my husband in the countryside.

Best holiday destination?
Thailand - what a place!

One item to take to a desert island?
A lighter!

The Holiday - but only at Christmas!
