Background and industry experience

Edward joined Fisher German as an Equity Partner in January 2012 following the merger with his family firm, Denton Clark. He works mainly within the Rural Consultancy sector and is the lead Partner for a number of the estates with Cheshire and the North West that are managed from the Chester and Knutsford offices. Edward is also a RICS registered valuer, undertaking valuation work for a wide range of corporate and private clients in addition to acting as an Expert Witness in connection with property disputes. He is Fisher German's main agent and valuer for the Agricultural Mortgage Corporation (AMC) in the North West. Other specialisms include agricultural agency and planning and development work. Educated at Reading University, Edward has been in the industry for 33 years, the last 27 of which have been spent in Chester. During this time, he has built up a wealth of knowledge and contacts in Cheshire and the North West. Edward has been President of the Cheshire Agricultural Valuers Association on two occasions and Chairman of the Cheshire Country Land & Business Association.

I saw an opportunity to grow our business in Chester with like-minded people.

What has been your favourite project and why?
Seeing Cheshire Green Industrial Park (http://www.cheshire-green.co.uk/), a major development on one of our managed Estates, become a reality. It has taken the best part of 20 years but we are now selling development plots.

A boat! I would get bored very quickly and want to escape.
