Background and industry experience

Richard joined Fisher German in 2008, having farmed in a family partnership previously, on a mixed holding. He is part of the team running the Mainline Pipelines Limited contract within the Utilities & Infrastructure sector. Since Valero became the major share holder in Mainline Pipelines, a lot more time is spent travelling to Wales managing projects for Valero.

Richard is married with two daughters and lives on a smallholding in Derbyshire. Most weekends are spent doing things on the smallholding.

What has been your favourite project and why?
The project to undertake all the repairs on the pipeline to Manchester, prior to the pipeline and Manchester Terminal being put back into use.
