About me

What year did you start your job?
I started at Fisher German in November 2011 as a Planner, having previously worked at a private planning consultancy in Northamptonshire, where I had spent my summers on work experience.

Why did you join Fisher German?
I went for the interview at FG to get a recruitment consultant off the phone, in all honesty! However, FG totally won me over at the interview and I decided it was time for a change and accepted the job offer. The key draw to FG, for me was the people. Everyone I had met at all levels of the business was so friendly and approachable.

What has been your favourite project and why?
North Road, Retford - we took forward an outline planning application for a mixed use development (200 dwellings and 11 hectares employment land). The client has been brilliant to work with as too has the LPA who we have developed a good working relationship with over the year.

Most admired, non-property brand?
Virgin/Dyson - both innovative, they take something which exists already, make it better, and dominate the marketplace.

Top pastime?
Spending time with friends and family, travelling, and bootcamp when I can get there.

Best holiday destination?
South Africa, without a doubt.

One item to take to a desert island?
A boat.

Who would you like to be stranded in a lift with?
Someone very calm, as it would be my worst nightmare.
