David Kydd, a highly experienced chartered surveyor has joined our infrastructure team as it looks to progress major projects in the West Midlands and Cheshire. David, who has been a RICS-qualified surveyor since 1984, has joined our Stafford office where he will be leading a team of six.
David will be acting on behalf of clients to negotiate with landowners affected by utilities and infrastructure projects in and around Stafford, as well as our offices in Chester, Knutsford, and Worcester.
He joins us after a long career in surveying, with roles at Cluttons and Savills before he was invited to manage the Carrington Family estates in Buckinghamshire and Lincolnshire. David later helped run Midlands Murphy Association (MMA) mainly working for the Environment Agency, before selling it in 2013.
Following further compulsory purchase work for Dalcour Maclaren, Gateley Hamer and Meller Speakman involving HS2, David joined us after the northern leg of the high-speed line was terminated. He will primarily work on behalf of clients in the water industry looking to acquire land for capital schemes, providing advice around surveying and valuation.

It’s great to be joining a bigger firm once again after having worked for smaller firms and running my own business for a time. I’m looking forward to being part of a multi-disciplinary company and helping Fisher German support their clients to complete a range of major infrastructure projects.
