We are delighted that our experts in energy and sustainability and agribusiness have once again been invited to speak at this year's Low Carbon Agriculture Show, the only event focussed exclusively on low-carbon practices, technology and energy solutions available to achieve a profitable and sustainable farming future.

Other industry heavyweight speakers will examine the steps needed to achieve Net Zero, provide advice and guidance on effective carbon and environmental land management, outline the benefits, and examine the challenges facing agricultural and rural businesses. The Farm Technology Expo aims to highlight these options, guiding their benefits and integration into existing systems and in this way helping to improve on farm sustainability.

Forward-thinking farmers and landowners looking to help address climate change through the implementation of low-carbon solutions and best practices in both environmental and carbon management will be among the thousands in attendance at the show on Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 March, at the NAEC, Stoneleigh. They will be able to see the latest farm tech on display, connect with like-minded people to hear what has worked and what has not, and see the latest innovations for energy storage, management, conservation, and usage.

The exhibition will showcase over 120 companies representing the renewable energy, low-carbon transport, and machinery sectors as well as suppliers of innovative technologies and advisors on both carbon and environmental land management.

Our green energy and sustainability experts have been invited to speak alongside other industry specialists discussing topics ranging from soil health, carbon farming, and sustainable water management to updates on environmental land management schemes, and dedicated sessions for each renewable energy type, as well as Agri-tech and seminars on energy storage and Low Emission Vehicles.

Our Head of Green Energy and Sustainability, Darren Edwards said: “We are once again looking forward to being involved at the Low Carbon Agriculture Show. We have been exhibiting at the event since it first began in 2010 so have seen it evolve from its modest beginnings to the industry leading two-day event that it has become today. I will be presenting in the Energy and Business Theatre on the Thursday alongside industry colleagues discussing opportunities surrounding a fully decarbonised energy system. It looks certain to be an informative session for farmers, landowners, and property owners alike whilst the show itself is a great opportunity to make connections with people who we can support moving forward.”

One of our senior associates and natural capital expert, Tom Beeley, will be chairing a conference session taking place between 3.10 – 4.20pm on Wednesday 6th March on ‘making the most of your energy’ which will guide ways to optimise the value of energy being used or generated on-site. Darren Edwards will be presenting in the Energy and Business Theatre on Thursday 7 March at 1.10pm exploring the green energy sector, emerging trends and opportunities available during the 'Opportunities Surrounding a Fully Decarbonised Energy System' session. Our Head of Agribusiness, David Kinnersley, will be chairing the 'Building Green' session also at 1.10pm in the Energy and Business Theatre on Thursday 7 March which will be exploring the building of structures that are both sustainable and energy efficient, including regulations, natural materials and low carbon technologies.
