Ruth Ofield, a Partner and Amy Bowden, a Senior Associate will attend an awards ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Friday 4 November after being shortlisted in the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Young Surveyor of the Year Awards.

Ruth, shortlisted for Mentor of the Year Ruth said: “I feel honoured to be shortlisted as a finalist, I would like to wish everyone the very best of luck in the finals.”

Ruth is part of our Infrastructure Services Division acting for clients in the water, electricity, and gas industries. She also leads our graduate team and is responsible for graduate recruitment. In this category RICS apprentices, trainees and newly qualified professionals aged under 35 years of age, were invited to nominate those who have supported and inspired them to progress in their careers.

Amy is part of our Development Agency Team specialising in residential development. She provides both development consultancy and agency advice to a broad range of clients and has been shortlisted in the Land (Rural and Urban) Category. This award seeks to showcase an inspiring individual who has had a positive impact on the environment, planning or any aspect of the management of land.

Amy said: “I am thrilled to have been recognised for my work and it is even more of a privilege knowing it is my peers or clients who have nominated me. I am also looking forward to meeting the other finalists tonight.”

Partner, Matthew Trewartha, said: “This is the sixth year that our colleagues have been shortlisted for these awards. It demonstrates the high calibre of individuals in our business and the awards are a fantastic way to recognise them for their skills and contribution to the profession.”
