2023 grad placement fisher german banner

Applications for our 2023 scheme opened on 1 September 2022 and close at 5 pm on 2 December 2022. Our unrivalled training programme enables every graduate, no matter what their role, to achieve their full potential and go on to develop their careers through the firm. Graduates joining us will be in the company of over 250 graduates and placement students who have completed our scheme since 2000 and have begun a rewarding career in property consultancy.

Ruth Ofield, Head of Graduate Recruitment said “I have been lucky enough to experience this first hand, having joined as a graduate, and progressed through the levels to now lead on graduate recruitment. I am proud to have this role and love meeting so many enthusiastic and talented people who are the future of the business.”

Ruth recently won the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) ‘Mentor of the Year Award’ and has helped graduates launch their careers and thrive in the fast-paced and dynamic world of surveying since she started her journey 12 years ago.

Graduate Surveyor, Edward Adams, who works in our Telecoms consultancy team, joined us in January 2022 said: “It was a very straightforward process. I have had a vast amount of support towards passing the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and I have been impressed with the professionalism of the firm. My role is varied and no two days are the same, I am enjoying being part of a growing team working in a niche market.”

Graduate Surveyor, Ellie Whistlecroft, works in our Infrastructure and Utilities Division and participated in our Insights programme to learn more about the industry. She knew someone who had also been a graduate so was able to find out a bit more about the scheme before joining, she said: “I graduated from a non-cognate university in Architectural Engineering and found it easy to apply. It is a very people-focused company and I have found everyone I speak to be very friendly and helpful. There is great training support for both the APC and Master’s degree programmes, I am excited to be here when there is an exciting amount of growth in the company.”

Surveyor, Thomas Oatey, who joined the Exeter office in 2021 after graduating from Harper Adams University said: “I first heard about the graduate scheme at a career fair at university, when I applied I found the application process simple. The APC training appealed to me, it was clear there was a well-structured training plan in place and that I would be supported throughout the whole process. I was also thinking longer term and I was impressed by the fact that there was a clear progression path within the business.”
