Two disposals of the same site within six months resulting in fees totaling £18,500.Project summary
- An existing client wanted to dispose of a property which was surplus to their operational requirements. The property was on the verge of being launched onto the open market when there was the opportunity to do a deal privately and sell three properties instead of just one including two further sites. The subsequent buyer of the property retained us to manage the property on their behalf and provide further strategic advice.
- Further to reviewing the sites on their behalf it was agreed that we would let out two of the three sites. As we were on the verge of launching one of the properties to the rental market the buyer was approached directly by another party who wanted to purchase the property from them. We were then instructed to assist on their behalf to dispose of this property on an off-market deal for a second time within six months of the first.

- We were able to review the sites on behalf of a new client and by establishing their objectives, we were able to recommend appropriate options.
Benefits
- The second sale of the property resulted in an additional fee of £14,500 for the disposal. On top of this we have 'won' a new client who is instructing us to let one of the other properties on their behalf which could result in another fee of £10,000+!
