- Fisher German (FG) has provided Property and lands services to Esso since the 1980’s including all major projects.
- Project and Services Provided: Professional advice and services relating to all land agency, easement maintenance and planning matters relating to the daily upkeep of the pipeline system and the protection of it.
- The contract is delivered by land agents, administrators, a landowner liaison officer, a pipeline maintenance supervisor and pipeline technicians.
Solution
- Land Agency: This includes being the first point of contact for third parties with a dedicated phone line answered between 8:00 and 17:30 and processing LSBUD enquiries from submission through to supervising the work.
- The land agents will liaise with landowners, occupiers, developers, local authorities, highways authorities and contractors to ensure the pipeline is safe and the client can safely operate their asset.
- This service also includes land referencing, land entry negotiations, preparation of records of condition, negotiation of compensation, land/new legal rights acquisition, project management and reporting direct to the client and contractors.
- FG also organises and manages Essos pipeline repair programme. A 24/7 on call service is provided.
Benefits
- The land agents also manage and follow up heli-sightings, infringements, creates and issues work consent orders and reports on health and safety matters.They also report on the status of key performance indicators set by the client monthly.
- Pipeline Maintenance/Protection Services: This includes supervising third parties completing work within close proximity to the pipeline and contractors working on behalf of Esso to ensure the pipeline is safe.
- That they have a client representative on-site to make sure all health and safety requirements are complied with. Line walking, taking CP readings, remedials (installing, replacing, repairing and painting ground and aerial marker posts).
- Vegetation clearance and different daily, weekly and monthly patrols, valve checks are completed by the pipeline technicians.
