Project summary
- Following the vacation of the property, the landlord desired a renewal of the property to maximise its value on the rental market
- Fisher German were engaged to review the layouts of the property, specify refurbishment works, and administer the contract through to completion of the works
- In particular, the first floor bathroom was cramped, kitchen was difficult to use, and there was no ground floor toilet facilities internally
Solution
- Identified a number of options to create more useable spaces within the property and produced a budget estimate for each option
- Prepared and managed tender process with returned costs being in line with the pre-tender estimates
- Liaised with the contractor on site to bring quality workmanship and a refreshed internal appearance to the property

- New tenant identified following completion of the works with a better rental value for the property
- Bathroom space enlarged to provide space for both shower and bath without feeling cramped
- Open plan kitchen space makes best use of ground floor layout
