Our graduates are involved in every stage of the project lifecycle, from land referencing and negotiating of survey access to securing consents for works and settling compensation claims.

Your work will not only involve infrastructure projects above the ground but also, below it, from maintenance and repairs of existing infrastructure to brand new projects on a national scale. You will help shape the future of our communities, ensuring access to water, electricity and fuel for generations to come!

Excellent communication, relationship building and problem-solving skills are essential for any graduate infrastructure surveyor. You will be fully emersed in a fast-evolving surveying sector, playing a critical role in achieving the Government net zero targets by 2050.

Key Information

Our Infrastructure Graduate Pathway is your ideal route to achieving chartered member status with the RICS.

As an infrastructure graduate surveyor, you would undertake the RICS Land & Resources pathway for the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to become Chartered member of the RICS.

Our infrastructure programme is designed to be applicable across a wide range of sectors, with many of the technical competencies for this pathway forming part of graduates’ day-to-day work. The nature and variety of work, combined with access to Fisher German’s other industry experts, ensures our graduates receive the breadth and depth of knowledge and experience required to meet their chosen competencies and becoming a well -rounded surveyor.

Our Infrastructure Services Division (ISD) is one of our largest teams and so we can offer our graduate surveyors a role in an established team, working with colleagues at various stages of their surveying careers. We try to locate our graduates into offices and teams where there are several colleagues to support you on your APC journey.

Our ISD teams are in the following offices. You will be able to select offices on your application form where we have available roles:

  • Ashby de la Zouch
  • Worcester
  • Banbury
  • Stafford
  • Bury St Edmunds
  • Ashford
  • Doncaster
