We are pleased to announce that we have appointed Alex Lowth as our new Financial Director, following the retirement of Adrian Jones after a 14-year period with us. Adrian has played a pivotal role leading the finance team and transforming the organisation’s financial processes over the course of his tenure.
First joining in 2012, Adrian is one of many senior colleagues and partners who have benefitted from our long-standing commitment to career development within the company, in return helping take us from SME to a nationwide consultancy.
Alex’s arrival in his place brings extensive global experience to the business, having held leading roles within multi-billion-pound organisations and high-growth SMEs across the professional services industry.
Previously, Alex was Interim Chief Operating and Financial Officer at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors where he acted in a dual capacity, leading operations during a leadership transition and rebuilding financial operations within the organisation, including a refreshment of an 80-project programme and implementation of a new ERP system
Before this point he gained extensive experience scaling internal operations within the built environment, including stints with Newmark Europe and Asia, Baker-Hicks Europe, and 14 years with the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, CBRE.
Within his new role, Alex will lead the overall management of financial systems and control and reporting for the partnership.
Speaking on his appointment, Alex said: “I’m delighted to be joining Fisher German, a business with a proud legacy as a partnership where there is genuine investment from the top down. I was attracted by the firm’s strong sense of shared purpose and commitment to its people and clients, and I am looking forward to playing a pivotal role within the senior leadership team to help secure continued growth for the future. I have come to recognise Fisher German’s excellent work across many disciplines, and I am excited to work together with our teams and clients to support further growth and success.”
“Throughout my career I have gained a wide range of experience bridging operational, financial, and strategic business acumen to drive profitable expansion for organisations, and hope to bring my lessons, learnings, and insights to the Fisher German team.”
Managing Partner, Andrew Bridge, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Alex to the business. He joins Fisher German with a wide breadth of financial and operational experience and knowledge across the professional services and real estate industry.”
“His reputation as a trusted strategic advisor who has led businesses through major transformation, operational improvement, and strategic growth aligns well with our bold ambitions for continued progression across the firm.”
