As UK agriculture faces a period of extraordinary transition, the 60th National Farm Management Conference, hosted by the Institute of Agricultural Management (IAgrM) on Thursday, 6 November 2025, stands as a beacon for those navigating the crossroads of farming’s future. Taking place at the illustrious One Great George Street in Westminster, this year’s conference is set to unite the sector’s foremost visionaries, including representatives from our agribusiness team.

With the theme “Planning for Growth – People: Profit: Planet,” the conference will dissect the essential pillars underpinning the future of British agriculture. Attendees will delve into strategies for attracting and retaining talent, building resilient and profitable farm businesses, and embracing sustainability as a core driver of growth. In an era defined by policy upheaval, climate volatility, and economic uncertainty, the conference will offer actionable insights and collaborative solutions.

Head of Agribusiness, David Kinnersley, said: “Our presence at the conference underscores our commitment to innovation and leadership in rural enterprise. The landscape of farm management is shifting, and this will be a great opportunity to hear discussions on profitability, regulation, and the integration of environmental and commercial objectives.

“We have a dedicated agribusiness team managing farms and advising businesses on improving their profitability. Alongside Fisher Germans natural capital, DNZ, and green energy and sustainability teams, we have a holistic approach to support rural businesses to grow and plan their future. Through collaboration with experts across the business we can support our clients to develop new models for financial resilience, advise on sustainable land management practices to drive farm profitability, as well as exploring green energy and decarbonisation opportunities and support them to meet and hopefully exceed regulatory and market-driven sustainability targets to empower rural businesses to thrive in an ever-changing landscape.”

The 2025 agenda will feature a diverse range of industry leaders and key sessions will include:

  • PEOPLE: How to attract, retain, and manage top talent in an evolving industry
  • PROFIT: New models for financial resilience and smart business strategies
  • PLANET: Innovations and policies driving sustainable agriculture
