We have recently has expanded our commercial lease advisory team in London with the appointment of a new partner, strengthening our depth of expertise across the capital’s office and mixed-use markets.
Sam Boothby’s joined our London office from Strettons where he was head of the lease advisory department, specialising in commercial property. Previously, he worked for five years at CBRE, the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, where he acted on behalf of institutional landlords including Hammerson, LandSec, Schroders Investment and British Land.
He said: “Fisher German is a significant well-established property consultancy with an extensive range of clients across multiple divisions and so there is a great deal of opportunity to grow the lease advisory instructions
“Having gained extensive experience across the retail, leisure and F&B property sectors, recent years have led me into the industrial and logistics market, where investment activity is increasingly concentrated. The sector is undergoing rapid evolution, driven by continued development and changing building specifications, with demand for specific types of space shifting at an unprecedented pace. This has made the industrial and logistics sector a compelling area of focus, particularly for lease advisory.
“Throughout my career, I have gained insight into how a wide range of business structures operate, and I’m driven to really excel by bringing a fresh perspective on the industrial and logistics sector to complement the strengths of Fisher German’s existing team.
“I was born and raised in Hertfordshire and have worked in London for my whole career and I’m aware of Fisher German’s very exciting business plan over the next five years so this is a perfect fit.”
Partner and Head of Commercial Lease Advisory, Rupert Collis, said: “This appointment underscores the firm’s commitment to investing in key practice areas and strengthening our market position in London. I am confident that Sam’s appointment will provide immediate value to our clients and create new opportunities for collaboration across our teams.”
