We have strengthened our infrastructure land rights & consultancy team with the appointment of a highly experienced adviser as a partner in our Stafford office.
Steve Farrow has joined us after more than two decades of experience in rural estate management, strategic property advice and operational leadership, having worked with a range of private estates, institutional landowners and rural businesses throughout his career.
His significant experience working directly for landowners will enable him to provide informed advice when working with landowners on behalf of our utility and infrastructure clients and supporting the continued growth of the team.
Steve’s decision to join us was also influenced by our reputation within the industry and the strength of its partnership structure. He said: “Fisher German has always been a business that stood out to me throughout my career. I have consistently been impressed by the quality of people across the business and the way clients are looked after.
“The partnership model was a major attraction to me. I wanted to be invested in the success of the business I work for and actively involved in shaping its future. Having worked both as an advisor and directly for a major estate, I understand the importance of building strong relationships with landowners and delivering practical advice, which matches Fisher German’s reputation in the market. I’m looking forward to bringing that experience to the infrastructure consultancy team and supporting its continued growth.”
A graduate of Harper Adams University, Steve has held senior estate management roles with Smiths Gore, Savills and Strutt & Parker before joining Bradford Estates in 2020, where he was appointed Estates Director in 2023 and led the group’s operational and strategic activities across its diverse portfolio.
Partner, Hugh Maxfield, added: “Steve is an excellent addition to the team and further strengthens our infrastructure consultancy expertise. He brings a breadth of experience from both consultancy and client-side roles, giving him a particularly valuable perspective when supporting landowners affected by infrastructure projects.
“Steve’s knowledge, leadership experience and understanding of the challenges facing landowners will be hugely beneficial to our clients and colleagues alike as we continue to grow the team, and we are very pleased to welcome him to Fisher German.”
