Knutsford Big 25 Kick off 2 01

Last week, Olivia Bowcock, one of our graduate surveyors in the infrastructure team in Knutsford, along with her partner Andrew, completed an extraordinary 1000-mile challenge traveling from John O'Groats to Land's End in just nine days. Olivia drove a tractor, creatively dressed up as the beloved green ‘Tractor Ted’, while Andrew took on the journey on his bike.

The duo undertook this journey to raise awareness and funds for two meaningful causes: Clatterbridge Cancer Hospice, where Andrew’s father sadly passed away 12 years ago, and The Farm Safety Foundation, also known as Yellow Wellies. Their efforts have raised close to

£8,000, thanks to the generous support of communities along the way.

Throughout their journey, Olivia and Andrew were met with overwhelming support from children, families, and well-wishers who came out to see ‘Tractor Ted’, cheer them on, and donate to their causes.

Olivia said: "Farmers face immense pressures, from long hours and isolation to financial strains. Mental health issues are common in our community, and we wanted to raise awareness of this and the wonderful hospice that supported Andrew's dad."
