Fisher German has supported the Valero Benefit for Children since 2019 and continued its support this year as the annual fundraising event raised £700,000 for children’s charities across the UK.
The 2026 Valero Benefit for Children returned to Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, Wales, from Wednesday 10 to Friday 12 June, bringing together sponsors, suppliers and supporters for a major fundraising event with a lasting community impact.
The £700,000 raised at this year’s event will support local and national children’s charities, continuing a proud tradition of giving back. Since 2014, the initiative has raised more than £4 million for children’s charities across the UK, supporting organisations that provide essential care, opportunities, guidance and specialist services for young people and their families.
Fisher German has been a long-standing sponsor of the event, reflecting our commitment to supporting initiatives that make a meaningful difference in the communities where our clients, colleagues and partners live and work.
The funds raised through the event will support a wide range of charities, including those helping bereaved children and families, young people with additional needs, children affected by serious illness, families requiring hospice care, and organisations providing inclusive activities, education and wellbeing support.
Among the charities supported through the event is the Henry Sale Foundation, which Fisher German also supports through other initiatives. When Fisher German was formed, Henry Sale was one of two managing partners who jointly managed the business until his untimely death in 2013.
The Henry Sale Foundation was established in his honour and raises money for a range of good causes that were close to Henry’s heart, making its inclusion among the charities supported by the event particularly meaningful.

A key part of the event is the Valero Benefit for Children Golf Classic, which this year was played across three courses at Celtic Manor Resort: the Twenty Ten course, The Montgomerie and Roman Road.
Alongside the Golf Classic, participants could also take part in the Karting Challenge and Sporting Clays challenge, with teams competing before returning to the clubhouse for lunch, prize giving and drinks.
The Valero Benefit for Children is a long-established fundraising event, combining sporting activities, networking and sponsorship to generate substantial donations for good causes. For Fisher German, it is an opportunity to continue supporting work that benefits children, young people and families across the UK.
