Tell us a bit about your route into property.
I’m originally from Barnt Green near Bromsgrove and studied Property, Development and Planning at Oxford Brookes University. After finishing my GCSEs at 16, I completed a two-week internship shadowing an asset management team, which gave me a great insight into the industry and sparked my interest in property.

I then completed a six-month placement with a firm that merged with Siddall Jones while I was there. It taught me a lot about the surveying side of the industry and confirmed that I wanted to follow a commercial agency route.

What attracted you to joining us in September 2025?
The joining process was straightforward. I didn’t know about Fisher German beforehand, but I quickly saw the opportunities here - if you’re keen to learn, open to change, and ready to take on a challenge, you can go a long way.

I also wanted to join a growing business and learn from people who really understand the market. From day one, I’ve felt trusted and supported, which has made a big difference.

I’d also heard great things about the business and its growing agency team. Even with other offers, the interview process gave me real confidence that this was the right move for me.

What’s it been like working at Fisher German so far?
Since joining, I’ve worked alongside Max Fellows and Arthur Morgan in the Birmingham development agency team. It’s been a great experience working with such knowledgeable people, and I’ve learned a lot about the market and how to approach opportunities with confidence in a short space of time. I’ve also worked with key stakeholders across the business, which has helped me see how everything fits together.

Any highlights you’re proud of so far?
One of the best parts is that I was given my own projects from the start. I’ve been able to work directly with landowners and housebuilders across the west midlands, an area which stretches east of the region and down the M40 corridor, which has really helped me to understand my role and develop my skills quickly.

What are you looking forward to as you move into commercial property management?
I’m excited for the move and the chance to broaden my experience. Property management feels like a natural next step, understanding how buildings run day to day, supporting clients and occupiers, and building a strong foundation for the future. I’m also keen to develop my knowledge of asset management and investment as my career progresses.

What’s the big goal over the next couple of years?
My main goal is to sit my APC at the end of 2027. I’ve had plenty of support, which makes it feel achievable, and I’m keen to carry that momentum into the new team. Longer term, I want to stay with Fisher German, progress within the business, and play my part in helping the company achieve its goals and continue to grow.
