Darren is a Fixed Share Partner and Head of the Renewable Energy sector but supplements this role with some estate management and general professional work for long standing clients. Darren has been involved in a large number of multi-technology energy projects across the UK and Northern Ireland and was responsible for overseeing the firm's first medium-scale wind development, from idea to build. He has helped a number of the UK’s leading clearing banks evolve their renewable energy lending policies and oversees the management and delivery of due diligence for those clients who have lent in excess of £40 million to associated projects. Darren graduated from the Royal Agricultural College in 2006, joining Fisher German later that year. He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2008 and has since progressed through the firm into his current role as a Fixed Share Partner. As well as helping build the Renewable Energy sector, he also spent a number of years developing the firm's graduate recruitment and APC training programmes. Darren hails from the hills of Exmoor and can often be spotted on the racecourse, having ridden nearly 200 winners as an amateur jockey.

Harry trained as a chartered surveyor specialising in commercial property investment and then moved into the renewable energy sector over seven years ago. He joined Fisher German in September 2010 to advise farmers and landowners on diversification opportunities, principally by installing roof or ground mounted solar PV systems and wind turbines. Harry has also negotiated over 50 solar park sites throughout the country on behalf of farmers and landowners. Other areas of expertise include due diligence work on medium scale wind turbines for various lending institutions as well as a wide range of renewable energy feasibility and deployment work. Harry also works within the Commercial sector focusing on professional work for land and property owners within the Telecommunications sector. When not working, Harry is busy renovating his house and looking after his three small sons and occasionally getting to watch sport or enjoy country pursuits.

David is a farm business consultant who provides ongoing business advice to farming clients as well as strategic reviews and restructuring advice. Work includes managing contract farming agreements, single payment scheme issues, farm diversification and staff recruitment advice. David also advises on renewable energy and is a specialist in anaerobic digestion projects for a range of clients using waste and energy crops.

Mark Newton headed up the Fisher German energy sector team since he started it in 2001. Fisher German was one of the first firms of Chartered Surveyors to specialise in renewable and sustainable energy. Mark is a leading expert on wind, solar, AD and all forms of renewable and sustainable energy, including battery storage and STOR Energy sites. Mark has been selected by most of the major banks to help formulate their renewable lending policy and train their managers. He has helped write the CLA Advisory Booklet on wind farms, spoken on Radio 4 and appeared on BBC1 Countryfile. Mark speaks regularly at renewable energy conferences including Energy Now and NextGen and has written many renewable farming press articles. Involved in around 300 wind farm projects, hundreds of single wind turbine projects, over 90 solar park projects. Also large numbers of commercial scale domestic and industrial solar PV projects. He and his team have been involved with over 50 AD plants, numerous RHI projects, and hydro schemes. Mark is also involved in valuations of renewable projects for banks and landowners. He was selected by the RICS in 2014-16 to deliver the lectures on ‘Valuation of Renewable Assets’ across the UK. He spoke to the Bristol Law Society annual conference in 2015 on 'Overage – valuing renewable projects'. He also specialises in Expert Witness work for solicitors in renewables disputes and he has been involved in cases in the High Court and the Lands Tribunal.
