Fisher German is a leading national firm of rural chartered surveyors with 16 offices across England. It employs over 425 personnel, working throughout the UK for corporate, government, institutional and private clients. The firm provides all aspects of rural property advice across six sectors being: Rural Consultancy, Property Agency, Sustainable Energy, Utilities and Infrastructure, Commercial and Planning & Construction.
We are currently looking to recruit a Surveyor into our Utilities and Infrastructure Sector. The role will be based at our Canterbury Office in Kent.
The work will involve a diverse range of specialisms, including; third party acquisition and disposal of land and associated rights, legal agreements, valuation and negotiating compulsory purchase and compensation settlements together with land related issues associated with major infrastructure projects, from inception looking at route feasibility studies through to completion, on behalf of our multi-national clients.
You will utilise your excellent communication and project management skills in your interactions with a variety of stakeholders and be highly organised to meet client led deadlines. As part of our team, comprising in excess of 75 employees, you will be a proven team player; however, the ability to work on your own initiative is imperative. You will be provided with every opportunity to demonstrate your excellent client focus and delivery skills. Ability to drive change within a fast paced environment and expertise to process technical data is essential.
