Meeting gas demands

September 2010

meeting gas demands

Fisher German LLP have been appointed as land agents for National Grid plc on their Hole House Farm Reinforcement Project.

A new 3.25km, 900mm diameter, high pressure gas pipeline is planned at Hole House Farm, Cheshire, with construction due to commence in Spring 2011.

The pipeline is part of an expansion of gas storage facilities in former brine cavities, to provide additional energy security, in the face of declining gas production in the North Sea. The pipeline is required to reinforce supplies to EDF’s gas storage cavities in the area and will allow a greater volume of gas to be transported into the transmission system.
