Background and industry experience

Sophie joined Fisher German's Development team in 2022 but has previously worked for the Rural team at Fisher German at the beginning of her career. She is involved in providing advice on development matters, with a particular focus of residential development. Working specifically in the CAMKOX corridor and adjoining counties, Sophie acts on a wide range of development projects on behalf of private and institutional landowning clients. Sophie also has experience in working on behalf of large infrastructure providers and a range of housebuilders and promoters.

She is experienced in the full development cycle, from both perspectives having previously worked for other regional and national firms. She can advise on the full development cycle from formulating land assemblies to negotiating deals and legal agreements. She has a strong knowledge of her local markets and has a keen eye for reviewing and scrutinising appraisals and offers. Sophie has worked on a wide range of disposals from strategy through to the exchange and completion of a sale. She seeks to gain the best commercial advantage for her clients.

Sophie's wider remit includes business development and growth of Fisher Germans present in her geographical area of focus.

Sophie grew up on a farm in Bedfordshire and has been actively affiliated with Bedfordshire Young Farmers for over 15 years. Outside of work, Sophie enjoys country pursuits, travelling worldwide, long walks with her Labrador Tequila and watching rugby.
