About me

What has been your favourite project and why?
The sale of a smallholding near Riber in Derbyshire. A challenging sale but a lovely property - a small stone farmhouse in an elevated spot with permission for a very contemporary extension, a range of stone outbuildings and a mix of grassland and woodland with drystone walling - a great mix, lots of character and interesting to deal with.

Most admired, non-property brand?
Alpkit. A small British company supplying outdoor kit - some of which is manufactured in Nottinghamshire.

Top pastime?
Difficult - either hill walking or paddle boarding.

Best holiday destination?
The North Norfolk coast - Brancaster Staithe to be exact. Walking, swimming, paddle boarding, and a couple of great pubs.

One item to take to a desert island?
A solar powered radio.

Who would you like to be stranded in a lift with?
Richard Parks, an extreme environment athlete. Read his book 'Beyond the horizon'. Inspiring stuff.

Favourite film?
Thunderball - brilliant scuba diving scenes.
