Stephen Rutledge

Stephen’s areas of expertise includes compensation claims having been involved with the Evergreen 3 railway project and A43 and A3 road dualing schemes, together with a number of flood alleviation projects; property valuations; the sale, acquisition and lease of rural property; estate management; development and planning consultancy; diversification and alternative uses and advising on the structure and implementation of agri-environmental schemes and farming arrangements.

Charles Meynell

Charles is experienced in representing owners and occupiers in negotiations with acquiring authorities for road, rail and major infrastructure through the Infrastructure Planning Commission, dealing with pre-scheme design, Blight, disputes during construction through to settlement and payment of claims. He has given evidence in The Upper Tribunal (Lands Division) and at Mediation and supported Reference to The Court of Appeal. Charles is a member of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers Property Committee and is liaising with Central on policy relating to HS2.

John has over 14 years' experience acting for landowners affected by infrastructure projects where the necessary land has been acquired using compulsory purchase powers.  Projects include road, rail, canal and utilities.  In particular John acted for a diverse range of landowners affected by the Network Rail West Coast Mainline Widening Scheme, including agricultural, residential, amenity and commercial interests.  John is experienced in providing advice on procedure, valuation and associated negotiation.

Jonathan Perks

Jonathan has recently joined Fisher German in Banbury from a firm in Oxford. He has much experience in compulsory purchase matters including HS2 and the Evergreen 3 railway projects. He has also undertaken work for acquiring authorities which means he has experience from both sides of the fence. In addition, Jonathan undertakes valuations for a wide range of purposes and advises on landlord and tenancy matters together with management advice for private and institutional clients.

Amy advises on a broad range of rural professional practice work, specialising in advising landowners affected by compulsory purchase schemes, from utility company acquisitions and rights over land to government agency compulsory purchases and of course, HS2. Amy’s expertise also includes valuation of rural property, advising on SPS and environmental management schemes, and the sale, acquisition and lease of rural property.
