Background and industry experience

Robert worked in senior farm and estate management roles for close to twenty years, running a large estate and arable business across multiple sites in Mid Lincolnshire. He graduated with a degree in Agriculture from Wye college and is Basis and Facts qualified. Earlier in his career, Robert ran the in hand farms of a heavy land, diversified estate in Buckinghamshire working within the Bidwells Farm Management structure.

Now with a focus on Agribusiness in the East Midlands, the depth of his practical, commercial and business development experience enable him to offer valuable management services and advice. Robert enjoys being part of the excellent FG Farms team working from his home base in Lincolnshire and the Newark and Market Harborough offices. Business management is the main workstream for clients but helping grow the wider agricultural consultancy services Fisher German offers is proving an exciting opportunity in a rapidly changing industry.

Robert and his wife live on their smallholding in Lincolnshire, with a growing menagerie of animals. The next project is a cider orchard!

A weekend in Holt before Christmas. Or a sunny week in Val D'isere in late March.
