Background and industry experience

Richard joined Fisher German in 2018 and has a broad experience of rural practice having spent his early career training as a rural chartered surveyor across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Berkshire. He has since specialised within the business to focus on infrastructure projects and offers land consultancy advice to a range of clients across the industry at local, regional, and national levels. He has a degree in Rural Land Management from the Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester and is a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers, as well as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Richard re-located to East Anglia in Autumn 2022 to support the opening of the office in Bury St Edmunds and the delivery of critical infrastructure projects in the region. Prior to his re-location, Richard enjoyed several years practicing across the midlands and beyond from the Stafford office and maintains close connections in the area.

Whilst out of the office, he enjoys all aspects of country pursuits, most especially fly fishing, but has also been known to frequent the rugby pitch from time to time.
