Background and industry experienceEllie has worked in marketing and communications roles since 2014, starting her career as an intern at Cancer Research UK's head office in London, and was most recently employed as Marketing Communications Manager at national manufacturer Synseal Group. She has a real passion for delivering effective communications and making sure staff are happy and healthy in the workplace.
Ellie became a Certified Member of the Institute of Internal Communications in 2019 and is completing a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing. She also has a joint honours degree in History & English from the University of Oxford.
Ellie is originally from Pershore in Worcestershire and has also lived and worked in Oxford and Australia, before moving to Derbyshire in 2015 with her husband who works at Rolls-Royce. They often spend weekends visiting family and friends around the country and also like to venture to new places abroad when time allows.
