Background and industry experience

Kendra’s role entails devising and delivering an effective internal communications function within Fisher German. She works to improve communication internally across the firm, with particular focus on intranet communications and business updates, as well as being involved with activities such as the Management team roadshows, CPD days, the Annual Report and firmwide events like The Big Event which took place in 2015. Closely linked to internal communications, Kendra also collaborates with the HR team on colleague engagement initiatives, for example Your Voice, Fisher German’s annual colleague survey, and embedding our Vision and Values.

Having worked in the field of internal communications for almost 15 years, Kendra has experience in both the public and private sectors and across a range of industries, from finance (Alliance & Leicester, Barclaycard), and retail (Topps Tiles), to utilities (E.ON) and local government (Derby City Council).

Originally from Leeds, Kendra lives in Leicestershire with her son and two (feral) guinea pigs. A voracious reader of anything from novels to newspapers and magazines, Kendra is a zealot about grammar and spelling and is trying to instil this into her son (and workplace!). Any other free time is spent on Mum duties.
