Background and industry experience

Ruth advises on a range of professional matters in the Utilities & Infrastructure sector, acting for clients in the water, electricity and gas industries. She has been involved in a varied range of infrastructure schemes, involving referencing, negotiations of access, preparation of consents and notices, negotiation of compensation, licenses and acquisition of land.

Ruth also holds the position of Examinations Convenor for the Midland Counties Agricultural Valuers' Association, and is an examiner for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Internally, she is sits on the graduate team with responsibility for graduate recruitment, and also on the South Central Region's Regional Management Team.

What has been your favourite project and why?
A National Grid refurbishment project in Hampshire, for the sheer variety and scope of the scheme. It was a brilliant project for developing experience
