Background and industry experienceRory was educated in the South West of England, attaining a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Geography and a MSc in Town Planning from Plymouth University. During his summer breaks he gained planning experience in his native Hertfordshire in the private and public sectors.
Rory’s role at Fisher German is to consult and advise farmers, private landowners, educational establishments, small to medium housebuilders and Local Planning Authorities on general practice planning and development matters. His work load involves undertaking sites appraisals to determine development potential, pre-application discussions with Local Planning Authorities and the preparation and submission of planning applications. He can provide tailored expertise and advice relating to rural planning matters including; agricultural workers dwellings, mobile homes, certificates of lawfulness and agricultural permitted development rights. Rory has developed an ability to effectively utilise the planning system to unlock opportunities and maximise values for his clients.
In his spare time, you can find Rory attempting to improve his golf at his local club and watching his beloved Arsenal F.C.
