Background and industry experienceRobert is the Regional Managing Partner for the South Central Region which covers the Banbury, Bedford and Thame offices. He is also Head of Department at the Banbury branch. Robert works within the Agency Service Line specialising in the sale and purchase of country houses, village and rural properties. He is involved in the marketing of farms and estates, development sites and new builds across Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.
Robert trained with Strutt and Parker before moving to the South Midlands in the 1970s. He was based in Northampton for 20 years with Jackson-Stops and Staff and had is own company before joining Fisher Hoggarth in 1996 at their Market Harborough headquarters. Fisher German was created from the merger of Germans and Fisher Hoggarth in 2000. He moved to the Banbury office in 2004. He now spends his time between the three regional offices.
Robert has lived in the region for 40 years amassing considerable local knowledge and expertise. He has been involved in many equestrian events, contributed to St John’s Ambulance on a regional and national basis, and helped other local organisations.

Why did you join Fisher German?
I joined Fisher Hoggarth in 1996 as it was the most professional firm of chartered surveyors within the area. Fisher Hoggarth merged into Fisher German in 2000.
What has been your favourite project and why?
Sale of Kings House Stockton which I bought for a client 20 years ago, advise on planning over the years and then sold it to a Regional Group who are going to use it as their Headquarters.
