Background and industry experience

Rebecca is part of Fisher German's Rural sector and has worked on a wide range of projects including Estate-owned fibre optic broadband installations and district heating systems. Rebecca joined Fisher German in 2007, following a career change from accountancy to rural surveying. She has progressed through the business and was promoted to Local Partner in 2012 and Partner in April 2016. Rebecca has undertaken a range of general and rural practice work since joining the business, including rural land and property management, valuations, the sale of agricultural property and renewables work.

Originally from Cornwall, Rebecca moved to the Midlands in 2007 and she now lives on her husband's family farm near Milton Keynes. Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys rural pursuits and is also an avid dinghy sailor.

Why did you join Fisher German?
Because Fisher German is innovative and different. I also felt that they supported and encouraged its staff to succeed

What has been your favourite project and why?
Project managing my first single wind turbine installation. It was challenging because it was one of the first in the area and new to many of the sub-contractors, but hugely rewarding to see it completed and providing a ROI of over 30% for the client.

Most admired, non-property brand?
Joules - which has flourished since opening its first shop in Market Harborough in 2000.

Top pastime?
Walking in the Lake District with my family and three dogs

So far...Florence

One item to take to a desert island?
A boat!
