Background and industry experienceRachel is an Associate Partner within the Utilities & Infrastructure sector and is responsible for the management of the Government Pipelines and Storage System. This involves property management of 1,500km of redundant oil pipelines and 20 depots. Rachel is also involved with the management of a fibre optic network measuring 2,600km. In addition, she forms part of the marketing and IMS team for the sector. Rachel is an active member of the Midlands Branch of the Pipeline Industries Guild and currently holds the position of Deputy Chair. Rachel initially joined Fisher German on placement from Harper Adams University College in 2007, and after completing her degree she returned in 2009.
Rachel is a volunteer for Macmillan and enjoys baking, dog walking and watching her family play rugby.

What has been your favourite project and why?
The sale of the live Government pipeline system (2,000km of high pressure oil fuel pipelines and over 40 depots to the current operators CLH PS. I really enjoyed the involvement I had with setting the base for the new legislation to enable the sale to take place.
