Background and industry experience

Matthias provides a range of professional services to a variety of clients including landowners, farmers and corporate bodies across the UK.

Matthias specialises in the valuation of agricultural and residential assets for purposes such as loan security, taxation and internal accounting/decision making. Matthias has extensive experience in the poultry sector and can assist with new farm set-ups, landlord and tenant matters, portfolio valuations, schedules of condition and disposals and acquisitions. Matthias also works within the Compulsory Purchase and Compensation team and advises a number of residential, agricultural and commercial property owners in connection with the High Speed Two railway.

Matthias qualified in 2015, becoming a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a RICS Registered Valuer.

Outside of work, Matthias enjoys spending time in the countryside with his friends, family and black Labrador. He also enjoys social tennis and golf and is passionate about rural pursuits including shooting and fishing.
