Background and industry experience

Matthias provides a range of professional services on a consultancy basis for a range of clients including landowners, farmers and corporate bodies across.

Matthias specialises is agricultural and residential valuations for a variety of purposes including loan security, portfolio analysis, taxation and private acquisitions. He also advises on landlord and tenant matters and property disposals/acquisitions for retained management clients within the wider team. Matthias has extensive experience in the poultry sector and can assist with GIS site searching for new farm set-ups, landlord and tenant matters, portfolio valuations, schedules of condition and private or on-market disposals and acquisitions.

Matthias also advises a number of residential, agricultural and commercial property owners in connection with the proposed HS2 Phase 2B railway and can assist with:
- Farm Impact Assessments
- Early Access Agreements for Surveys
- Compensation claims
- Statutory Blight, and
- Rural Support Zone Valuations

Matthias qualified in 2015, becoming a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a RICS Registered Valuer.

Matthias sits on the Nottinghamshire Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust Committee and is also a volunteer fundraiser for the charity Supporting Wounded Veterans.

Top pastime?
Outside of work, Matthias enjoys spending time in the countryside with his friends and family. He also enjoys keeping fit with cross-country running and social tennis. Matthias is also passionate about rural pursuits and training his black Labrador.
