Background and industry experienceAfter graduating from Harper Adams University in 2014, Lettie began her career on a 9,000 acre privately-owned estate in Shropshire and stayed there until qualifying as a Rural Practice Chartered Surveyor. She then joined Fisher German in September 2016, where her role includes:
• Valuations for purchase and sale, secured lending and tax planning
• Landlord and Tenant advice for agricultural, residential and commercial property including property letting, managing new tenancies,
rent reviews, disputes and end of tenancy matters
• Planning advice including redundant barn conversions, new agricultural buildings, rural workers dwellings, change of use applications,
certificates of lawfulness and planning appeals
• Mapping to produce Land Registry Compliant plans, creation and updating of estate plans for landowners, as well as plans for
tenancy agreements, boundary disputes and planning applications
Having grown up on the Isle of Wight, Lettie now lives in Worcestershire with her partner, where outside of work she enjoys cooking, countryside sports and competing her horse.

What has been your favourite project and why?
I have enjoyed identifying opportunities for farmers and landowners through the conversion of farm buildings to dwelling houses which has enabled some to raise capital through dispersal and some to generate a further income stream through letting.
